Portugal, Spain, France to Switzerland, 5/1995-12/1995(8 months)
Trek2. South America 2,500km
Uruguay, Argentina to Chile ,1/1996- 6/1997(18 months)
Trek3. Up through New Zealand 3,000km.
New Zealand(Bluff to Cape Reinga),1/2003-10/2003(9 months)
Trek4. Down through Australia 3,300km.
Australia (Darwin to Adelade), 4/2004-12/2004 (9 months)
Trek5. Down through Japan 9,400km.
Japan (Shiretoko, Hokkaido to Yonaguni island, Okinawa), 8/2005-12/2013 (8 years).
Fumi met Ayumi for the first time in Sapporo,Hokkaido.
Two years later,Ayumi joined Fumi’s journey in Nagano pref.
Two of them continued walking and finished the trek at Fumi’s home in Anan,Tokushima,
and got married at the same time.
Trek6. Up through Taiwan 700km
Taiwan(Oluanpi to Taipei) 5/2014-7/2014 (for 3 months)
Ayumi and Fumi walked together.
Trek7. Across Canada about 5,000km?
Our next journey is trek across Canada ,of course on foot,in the spring of 2017-
Basically,the journey is on foot, camping-out, cooking food for oneself (also by an economical reason)
If we use the vehicle on the way journey between the starting point and the destination, we just come back to the point where we stopped walking, and begin to walk on again.

- ニュージーランド縦断 約3,000km (ブラフよりレインガ岬まで) 2003年1月~10月(約9ヶ月間)
- オーストラリア大陸縦断 約3,300km (ダーウィンよりアデレードまで) 2004年4月~12月(約9ヶ月間)
- 日本列島縦断 約9,400km (北海道知床より沖縄県与那国島まで) 2005年8月~2013年12月 (約8年間 2年間の中断を含む)
北海道、札幌で出会ったあゆみが長野県より旅に合流。以降二人で歩き、徳島県阿南市のふみ実家にゴールと同時に入籍 - 台湾縦断 約700km 2014年5月~7月(約3ヶ月間)妻あゆみと
次の徒歩旅は2017年春よりふみ・あゆみ夫婦でカナダ徒歩横断!!
旅は徒歩・野宿・自炊が基本(経済的理由からも)。決して急がず、できるだけゆっくり進む。
出発点から目的地までの途中で乗り物を使った場合、その地点まで戻って再び歩くのが唯一のルールだ
生きてる程度の更新がいいんですよ。決して危険な旅はしないでくださいね。
